This traditional Portuguese artisan blanket is similar in design to a Mexican Saltillo or Serape blanket or other southwestern native "Aztec" or "Indian" design blankets but with much higher quality materials. Featuring an extra durable tight weave construction with raised threading this is great for use as an outdoor yoga blanket / yoga mat / yoga rug as the raised & ribbed texture helps prevent slipping while practicing. Its extra tight weave also means it doesnt trap sand or dirt like other blankets do making it perfect for use as a beach blanket picnic blanket or camping blanket.
